About The Mystic Teacher Neville Goddard
On this page you will find an introduction and Neville Goddard's Wiki and also some information about Abdullah and myself.
Introduction by Carl Andrew Bradbrook
There are no coincidences in life and if you are here, then you have been attracted to and guided here by what Neville Goddard calls “Your Fourth Dimensionally Larger Self” (AKA your Higher Self, Soul, Spirit, Source Energy etc).
It is the eternal part of you that is projecting your life experience to you and that part of you clearly wants you to learn about how life really works, so that you can master the “Game Of Life” and finally get to really enjoy your co-creative powers and do some good with them.
As you follow this path you will encounter lessons. The lessons will vary from person to person.
The world you observe and call “Life” is a representation of where you are on your journey and it shows you precisely the particular lesson you are currently learning. As within, so without.
You can change the world you are experiencing by changing your “Mind”. In fact, as you progress you will surprised at how fast you can change your circumstances for better (or worse).
Key thing to remember is that you have the power to change whatever is happening for you. (You have the power already)
Key mindsets to have are: Willingness to learn, persistence and diligence.
Set a goal to learn Neville Goddard's teachings and you can “write your own ticket in life”
It may take a year or five or ten but when you have mastered the Law you are FREE.
A BIG TIP (huge mega tip) is not to think in terms of what you can get, but “Who You Can Become”
“Life Choices”, both conscious and the the ones that are currently running Un-consciously, have consequences. So choose wisely your “State” that you wish to “Occupy” and put all that you have into becoming it.
A KEY POINT to really THINK about is that life is a journey and collection of experiences and learnings, so choosing to follow your true hearts desires and indulging in an occupation that you enjoy is going to LIFT your mood and as Rev Ike says "It is the FEELING that gets the blessing"
Here is an excerpt of Neville Goddard's Wiki (Biography) and it will give you the basic background on Neville.
Neville Goddard was born on 19 February 1905 in St. Michael, Barbados in the British West Indies, to Joseph Nathaniel Goddard, a merchant, and Wilhelmina Nee Hinkinson. Neville was the fourth child in a family of nine boys and one girl.
In 1922, he came to the United States on board the S.S. Vasari to study drama at the age of seventeen. He became a dancer, and during this time he married his first wife, and they had a son together, named Joseph Neville Goddard.
While touring with his dance company in England he developed an interest in metaphysics after striking up a conversation with a Scotsman who lent him a series of books on the powers of the mind. Upon his return to New York he gave up the entertainment industry to devote his full attention to the study of spiritual and mystical matters.
Neville Goddard's first marriage was short lived, and he remained single for years until in the 1930s he met his second wife, who was a designer. After they married, they had a daughter named Victoria or "Vicky". In 1943, he was drafted into the U.S. Army at age 38, which he did not want, especially since he felt he was too old to become a soldier and had a wife and daughter at home to take care of.
Through the power of imagination, as Neville told it in his March 24, 1972 lecture, he was honorably discharged after just a few weeks of training. One consequence of his brief Army training was that he received full United States citizenship, having been a British citizen up to this point.
Neville's Relationship With Abdullah
Neville Goddard's interest in the esoteric interpretations of the Bible deepened after he met Abdullah, who lectured on Esoteric Christianity and taught both Goddard and Joseph Murphy.
Neville went to hear Abdullah,an Ethiopian Jew, somewhat under protest to satisfy the constant urging of a friend.Neville said,
"I recall the first night I met Abdullah. I had purposely delayed going to one of his meetings because a man whose judgement I did not trust had insisted on my attendance. At the end of the meeting, Ab approached me and said: 'Neville, you are six months late.' Startled, I questioned how he knew my name, when he said: 'The brothers told me you would be here six months ago.' Then he added: 'I will remain until you have received all that I must give you. Then I will depart.' He, too, may have longed to go, but he had to wait for me."
From this introduction, Neville studied with Abdullah learning Hebrew, the Kabbalah, and the hidden symbolic meaning of Scripture.
After traveling extensively throughout the United States, Neville eventually made his home in Los Angeles where, in the 1950s, he gave a series of talks on television and radio, and for many years lectured regularly to capacity audiences at the Wilshire Ebell Theater. In the 1960s and early 1970s, he confined most of his lectures to Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco.
About Carl Andrew Bradbrook
My own Self Help journey began over two decades ago and it was in 2005 that I first was introduced to the teaching of Neville Goddard with a small little book called At Your Command and his curriculum outline from 1948 called Class Instruction and otherwise know as the 1948 Lessons.
Like many people, I was quite shocked at first by his teachings as it shattered all my illusions around religion and God and indeed life. Here was a man who told me that there is nothing but God and that I am an individualized consciousness in the mind of God and that my experience of my life is also God's experience of my life. He also told me that I had the co-creative power of God. In short Neville told me that I AM God personified as man and that nothing exists outside of God.
It took me around a month of reading and re-reading At Your Command and Class Instruction to accept that what Neville was saying was true. 10 years later in 2015 I had an experience of the white light descending on me and an indescribable feeling of love and euphoria. My mind was filled with the white light and it was all I could see inside and outside of me.
Over the years I've had many AMAZING successes. I've also had a lot of seeming failures and many challenges. Out of those failures and challenges came a determination to master my imagination and manifesting my dreams and desires. This continued practice of learning and practicing has now led to even more successes and in many different ways.
Years of experimentation with imagining has shown me that the most effective way to make it work in One's life is by having a "Life Vision" which encapsulates ALL of the desires that we wish to experience and utilizes ALL of our GOD Given "Gifts and Talents" so that we can be of the greatest service and enjoy the most wonderful experiences delivered seamlessly with flowing synchronicity.
Imaginings performed within the framework of the True Life Vision are far more likely to manifest and the consequences of those imaginings graceful.
I hope that you will make the most of this website and the resources and develop and master your own skills of imagining and manifesting and I wish for you that you will experience the light (keep seeking and asking and it will come to you). If you have questions please use the Neville Goddard Questions and Answers Page comments section
The Promise (Read the Law and The Promise) will manifest for you at the right time and in the right way for you. Until then (and afterwards) play with your wonderful imagination and become the true co-creator that you always have been and always will be :-)
Blessings Love and Light!
