How To Find Your Perfect Partner
“Are You Imagining Pure Dreams Of Fancy or Images From Memory – There Is A Definite Difference”
“Wouldst thou be in a Dream, and yet not sleep?” Try to revise your day every night before falling asleep. Try to visualize clearly and enter into the revised scene which would be the imaginal solution of your problem. The revised imaginal structure may have a great influence on others, but that is not your concern. The “other” influenced in the following story is profoundly grateful for that influence.
“Last August, while on a ‘blind date’ I met the man I wanted to marry. This happens sometimes, and it happened to me. He was everything I had ever thought of as desirable in a husband. Two days after this enchanted evening, it was necessary for me to change my place of residence because of my work, and that same week the mutual friend who had introduced me to this man, moved away from the city. I realized that the man I had met probably did not know of my new address, and frankly, I was not sure he knew my name.
“After your last lecture, I spoke to you of this situation. Although I had plenty of other ‘dates’ I could not forget this one man. Your lecture was based on revising our day; and after speaking to you, I determined to revise my day, every day. Before going to sleep that night, I felt I was in a different bed, in my own home, as a married woman — and not as a single working girl, sharing an apartment with three other girls. I twisted an imaginary wedding band on my imaginary left hand, saying over and over to myself, ‘This is wonderful! I really am Mrs. J.E.!’ and I fell asleep in what was—a moment before—a waking dream.
“I repeated this imaginary scene for one month, night after night. The first week in October he ‘found’ me. On our second date, I knew my dreams were rightly placed. Your teaching tells us to live in the end of our desire until that desire becomes ‘fact’ so although I did not know how he felt toward me, I continued, night after night, living in the feeling of my dream realized.
“The results? In November he proposed. In January we announced our engagement; and the following May we were married. The loveliest part of it all, however, is that I am happier than I ever dreamed possible; and I know in my heart, he is too.” . . . Mrs. am happier than I ever dreamed possible; and I know in my heart, he is too.” . . . Mrs. J.E.
By using her imagination radically, instead of conservatively,—by building her world out of pure dreams of fancy—rather than using images supplied by memory, she brought about the fulfillment of her dream. Common sense would have used images supplied by her memory, and thereby perpetuated the fact of lack in her life. Imagination created what she desired out of a dream of fancy. Everyone must live wholly on the level of imagination, and it must be consciously and deliberately undertaken.

So then it has to do with an inner feeling of knowing that person is the one. Obviously the lady didn’t intentionally “ask” his “higher” self if it would be alright. She did not know how he felt towards her. I remember hearing Neville say that your desire is the father speaking through you.
Carl Bradbrook says
Hi Aaron,
It would seem that the lady in question already had a powerful picture in her mind as to what she wanted in her perfect relationship…soul mate… and had a feeling that he was the right man and so she used her imagination.
What is really key here, and from my own experience the way it happens, is that IF something is right it will manifest and IF not right it won’t.
A person’s Higher Self has a life plan which is a perfect direction and for someone who has been drawn to Neville’s teachings and attended lectures we can assume that they have been working to resolve and revise “ego programming” which would otherwise have led them astray.
In this situation it appears that her feeling was indeed correct and attracted someone of a similar level of vibration and right circumstance to her. Also it is clear that the man was also seeking the right person in his life or he would not have attended a blind date.
One thing that we will never know in regards to many of Neville Goddard’s success stories that he draws on is how long a person has been working on their spiritual evolution. In one of the audio lectures a lady Imagines a goal that manifests 7 years later and as she imagined it, so we could surmise that she had been attending at least some of his lectures and studying his materials for a period of at least 7 years.
It is also fair to assume that a dedicated student of Neville’s would also be observing the “Golden Rule”.
I think it fair to say that she acted on a sincere inner feeling and it must have been an awesome date for him to do the searching to find her. God bless em!

I had similar experiece few times when my wish and the result i imagined happened. However it had been wonderful at the beginning and later my dream became almost a curse. So i am very careful of what i wish for. I have learned that only wishes that come from heart and are selfless bring lasting happines.
Carl Bradbrook says
Hi Ariele,
Thanks for sharing and thanks for your wonderful insight!
The best way to look at all experiences that we manifest for ourselves is as a lesson and learning. ALL can be changed no matter how they may seem. A curse would imply that a person had no control over their experience so nothing really is a curse, all of life is a wonderful blessing :-)
Definitely wishes that are from the heart are the most in-joy-able as they are aligned with our true nature, our Higher Self and also have both conscious and unconscious alignment. Also remember that your “self” is your I AM ness and is the ONE (and Only True God) expressing itself as you in your experience of life so essentially all experience is self expressing itself as self. Giving of yourself and your god given talents is the greatest form of expression and also consider your own self and desires as well.
I wish you bold and courageous wishes for yourself and for all
Blessings love and light!
Carl :-)
